National Science Foundation Announces Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Hispanic-Serving Institutions Grant Opportunities

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has announced grant opportunities for HSIs to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and infrastructure. The purpose of the grants is to enhance the quality of undergraduate STEM education and to increase the recruitment, retention, and graduation rates of students pursuing associate's or baccalaureate degrees in STEM. Proposals submitted to NSF will be considered under the three categories below. The grants will be distinguished by the below criteria: 

California Alliance for Hispanic-Serving Social Science Advancement (CAHSSA) Faculty Research Networking and Grant Writing Opportunities

This will also be a space for students, staff and faculty to share how the Campus Safety and Policing Committee, UPD and area law enforcement can better serve our community and increase a sense of safety for all members of the community.
