SUBJECT: COLLEGE OF ARTS, HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES (CAHSS) COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

1. Charge of the Committee:

   The CAHSS Community Advisory Committee will meet twice a year. The Committee serves as a bridge to the Eureka/Arcata community and is composed of alumni, local leaders, and business and professional people who have an interest in the College and its activities. By way of reports and program materials, the Committee members are kept abreast of College and University events and initiatives, and are invited to provide feedback on those activities which specifically affect the community. The Committee is encouraged to provide input for the Strategic Plan of the College as it is updated from year to year.

2. Membership:

• The Chair of the Committee is the Dean for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.



• The Committee consists of approximately 15 members. Each member will serve a three year term and may be reappointed.



• The appointing authority for the Committee is the Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
