Sponsored Program Foundation (SPF) Finance Committee: Open Meeting Invitation: Special Overview of IDC

In effort to provide more information to the campus community about the history, process and policies governing campus indirect costs (IDC) collection and annual distribution, you are invited to attend the SPF Financial Committee Meeting via zoom on Monday February 26, 2024 at 4pm. The Sponsored Programs Foundation (SPF) Board of Directors is comprised of campus leadership, elected faculty directors, student representation, and appointed community members. The full Board meets quarterly to provide financial oversight and programmatic direction to SPF management. 

This upcoming Monday, February 26th at 4:00pm the Board’s Finance Sub-Committee will be meeting via Zoom to review quarterly financial statements with campus Accounting, as well as to provide this overview of IDC. If you are interested in the topic and would like to learn more, this meeting will be open and we welcome the campus community.

Nicolette Amann, Lecturer in English and coordinator of the Redwood Writing Project for local Humboldt teachers, and Anne Hartline, lecturer in the School of Education, recently facilitated a year-long professional development program on the untold local histories of Humboldt County and California. This project resulted in multiple sharable lessons created by local teachers that have been published at the National Writing Project site. Various College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) faculty presented on the following topics as part of the program. Thank you to these wonderful folks for their leadership and collaboration!
