Good morning everyone,

 

Commencement week is upon us and given the rundown of accomplishments I have to share with you below, it’s a time for kudos and celebration. Our faculty, staff, and students are doing amazing things. 

 

CSU Student Research Competition - 1st Place in Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Undergraduate)

Six Cal Poly Humboldt Student teams traveled to San Diego State University (SDSU) with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs Foundation to compete in the CSU Student Research Competition. Claire Rogers, an undergraduate student working with C.D. Hoyle took home 1st place in the Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Undergraduate) category. Her research presentation was on, “Numerical Modeling of an Active Leveling Scheme for Short-Range Tests of Gravity.” Photos are available here.

 

Reminder: University Senate Reception is Tomorrow night Tuesday, May 9, 2023 

Please join us to celebrate a successful end of the academic year! This year’s Senate Reception will be located at the Plaza View Room, catered by Uniquely Yours, and will be held just after the Senate concludes from 5 pm-7 pm. The celebration is to honor incoming and outgoing senators, distinguished faculty award winners, and ERFSA small grant award winners. Women’s Rowing #1
