Save the date- Thursday, November 3, 2022, Dr. Meenal Rana Excellence in Teaching – Tenure Line Faculty Award Lecture

Please join us at Dr. Rana’s lecture titled: A Letter to Ms. Rastogi: Welcoming Paradoxes. The lecture reviews using the storytelling approach and connecting relationships, belonging, cultural paradoxes, and learning in college classrooms and beyond. The lecture will be held on November 3, 2022, at 5:30 pm in Goodwin Forum. A small reception will follow.

Annual Research Celebration on October 27, 2022

Spring 2023 Textbook Adoption and Accessibility Deadline: October 28, 2022

Friday, October 28, 2022, is the deadline for Spring 2023 textbook adoptions. Selecting textbooks by the deadline helps ensure that all students have access to course material at the same time. All print-based and other instructional materials must be accessible to students with disabilities at the same time they are available to any other student (see EO 1111 and ATI Memo (March 2021)) in order to provide students with disabilities an equal educational opportunity to learn course subject matter, to participate actively in classroom discussions, and to meet assignment deadlines. The Student Disability Resource Center and the Accessibility Resource Center need sufficient time to convert materials into the appropriate alternate format to achieve accessibility. Also, see the campus Resolution on Timely Adoption of Textbooks for Students with Disabilities (#16-06/07-FA). To submit your adoptions follow these steps:

• Log into Canvas.

• Select the "Follett Bookstore" icon in the left column navigation pane

• Follow the instructions on the screen.
