I hope you are having a great week. It’s wonderful to see our students out learning in the field. I feel like I see them everywhere- in the forest, at the ocean, and contributing to our community. Thanks to each of you for creating, as President Jackson would say, “A positive and meaningful educational experience” for our students. 

Honorary Degree Committee Member Needed

One of my favorite committees to serve on at Cal Poly Humboldt is the Honorary Degree committee and we are in need of a faculty representative. The purpose of the honorary degree committee is to review nominations for an honorary degree and make a recommendation to President Jackson. Recipients of honorary degrees have demonstrated excellence in areas that benefit CSU campuses; the state, nation and/or world; and/or humanity If you are interested in serving as a faculty representative on this committee at Cal Poly Humboldt, please contact Lauren Lynch ASAP.

• This position is under the Student Activities Center but provides support for clubs through processing ALL campus events both for Clubs and Departments

• Club Financial Services Coordinator: Pending New Employee: clubs-finance@humboldt.edu

• This position is under Student Financial Services but provides support for club fundraising, club accounting, and any handling of cash or cash equivalents. 

• Sports Club Coordinator: Paul Wells: pww2@humboldt.edu

• This position is under Campus Recreation but provides ongoing support and training for all sports clubs and intramurals
